Hotdog Cookout Sundays 5:00 pm
Food Not Bombs
- Saturdays 11:00 am collect food from community groceries and
cook vegetarian meals that are taken out into the community
to feed the homeless and hungry. Part of Mid-south Peace and
Justice Center
Adopt-A-School
- Galloway has adopted Peabody school and looks for ways to
connect with the children of this school. We need tutors, phone answerers,
and volunteers at the school.

First Welfare to Work Program
- providing people with worth as well as work Up to 200 AFDC
(Welfare) parent's start each week in job skills analysis

developer's and trainers assit clients in finding living

- Troop 3 (all ages) has been at Galloway 30+ years.
March Hall 725-1997. Brownie Troop 225 has
recently begun for young girls.
Memphis AIDS Coalition
- meets on Thursdays every other month at 4:30 pm
Narcotics Anonymous
- “Lunch Bunch,” Mon-Sat at noon, “Dopeless Hope Fiends,” 7
days a week at 10 pm. Tuesday, “Dual Diagnosis,” at 6:30 pm.
